A one-stop event ticketing platform, a booming virtual-events category, and a wide open question: which segment, which region, which message actually moves KonfHub from "another events tool" to a defensible position.
KonfHub is a one-stop ticketing and event management platform for online, hybrid and in-person events. The assignment brief was to take that product, find where it should compete, and write the plan to get it there.
The global virtual events market was worth $199B in 2022. It's forecast to hit $1,066B by 2032, an 18.8% CAGR. That growth is the reason this assignment exists: a category this size rewrites what "good enough" looks like every year.

Layer on the regional data and Asia-Pacific stands out on its own: a 28% CAGR from 2023 to 2032, high digital infrastructure, and a market projected at roughly $136.5B in 2022 alone. That's where the expansion case gets made.

03
Who it's for, and against whom
Two segments carry the business: mid-market organizers who want scale and ease of use, and large enterprises moving to hybrid who want AI analytics and personalized attendee journeys. KonfHub has to speak to both without diluting the pitch to either.
It's not entering an empty field. Bizzabo leads on CRM automation and integrations. RingCentral Events brings 40+ integrations from a larger platform group. Accelevents owns the small-to-mid self-serve segment. KonfHub's opening is the AI layer none of them have fully claimed yet.
Positioning statement
KonfHub is the go-to platform for AI-powered, immersive event experiences, enabling organizers to track real-time attendee engagement, derive insights from AI analytics, and continuously optimize events for better outcomes.

CAC
Minimize customer acquisition cost quarter over quarter.
Event performance
Attendee engagement rate against an internal benchmark, plus post-event re-engagement rate.
LTV
Lifetime value growth, driven by freemium-to-paid upgrades.
Underneath that: funnel analysis, DMP-driven segmentation for retargeting, and heatmap / A-B testing on every landing page and email before it scales.
The takeaway
A growing market doesn't hand you a position. You still have to pick a segment, prove the AI claim, and let the metrics argue for the next dollar of spend.
